Not all cats will need items on this page!
Needles
For many people a 20g 3/4" needle is the sweet spot, but every cat is different -- the right size is whatever works best for your cat.

A variety of sizes is available at Revival Animal Health

Syringes
For syringes, a 3cc luer lock syringe is fine, although kitties with doses higher than 3 mL may need a 5cc syringe. In either case it is important to make sure you choose luer lock syringes, as that will prevent the needles from accidentally popping off.

It is extremely important to weigh your cat regularly as you go through treatment. A pet or baby scale can make this easier. Here is one that has worked well for people:

If your kitty isn't eating, calorie-dense foods can help ensure that they are getting the proper nutrition.

Churu Nourish
Ask your vet about Royal Canin Recovery or Hills A/D food (prescription required).
Disinfectants
Vetericyn is a good disinfectant that you can use to help keep sores clean and uninfected:
If you have a Petco store locally, they also stock a product called Microcyn, which is similar
Duoxo chlorhexidine spray is also a good choice:
Hydration Support
If your kitty is dehydrated you may wish to ask your vet about administering sub-cutaneous fluids.
You can also encourage hydration with products like Purina Hydracare.
Treats
High value treats are great for distraction, bribery, and giving pills. For many cats, Churu is a great motivator or distraction, but go with whatever your cat likes!
